Penn State Football’s Annual Lift For Life Scheduled For June 13

Penn State football’s 21st annual Lift for Life hosted by Uplifting Athletes has been scheduled for 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, in Holuba Hall, the team announced Thursday.

The event will feature the Nittany Lion offense taking on the defense in different competitions to benefit rare diseases. There will also be a kids’ clinic, which will run from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Although the event is free to spectators, donations, which benefit the Penn State Chapter of Uplifting Athletes, are encouraged.

All proceeds from the Lift for Life will support the chapter’s commitment to life skills development, patient-focused programs, and rare disease research.

Uplifting Athletes is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 2007 to build a community that invests in the lives of those affected by rare diseases. Since it began, Uplifting Athletes has raised more than $8 million through athletes participating in fundraising and awareness.
