Penn State Baseball To Face Nebraska In Sunday Title Game

Penn State baseball is set to face Nebraska in Sunday’s title game of the Big Ten Tournament. The game, which was originally scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, has been moved to 11 a.m.

The Nittany Lions are in the midst of a historic run in the tournament. Penn State clinched its spot as the No. 8 seed on the last day of the season but has won games against No. 1 seed Illinois and No. 4 seed Michigan, twice.

No. 2 seed Nebraska began its Big Ten Tournament with a loss to Ohio State but bounced back and beat Purdue and the Buckeyes in the losers’ bracket. A win over Indiana in the semifinals set Nebraska’s matchup with the Union.

Sunday’s matchup with be the first of the two teams of this season. They last faced off in May 2023, when Nebraska swept a three-game series in Lincoln.
