Penn State Men’s Soccer Releases 2024 Schedule
Folks, get ready to return to Jeffrey Field this fall.
Penn State men’s soccer released its 2024 schedule Thursday. The Nittany Lions will play at home nine times and kick off their regular season schedule on Thursday, August 22.
Before their regular season begins, the Nittany Lions will play an exhibition match at Jeffrey Field on Saturday, August 10, against Drexel. Six days later, the team will travel to play their second and final exhibition match against American University on Friday, August 16.
After the preseason, Penn State will open its season against reigning national champion Clemson on Thursday, August 22, in South Carolina. The team will play its home opener against Army on Sunday, August 25. Five days later, Penn State will continue its homestand when it takes on Pitt on Friday, August 30.
The Nittany Lions will host two more home fixtures as part of their four-game homestand against St. Bonaventure and Cornell before kicking off Big Ten play at Michigan on Friday, September 13. Head coach Jeff Cook’s group will host Ohio State on Tuesday, September 17, in its conference home opener. After facing Michigan State on Friday, September 20, the blue and white will travel to St. John’s for its last non-conference match four days later.
The Nittany Lions will host Big Ten foes UCLA, Rutgers, and Wisconsin, while traveling to Maryland, Indiana, Washington, and Northwestern for the duration of the season.
