Report: Former Penn State Quarterback Billy Fessler Hired As Ohio State Analyst

Penn State former quarterback Billy Fessler is set to join Ohio State as a quarterback analyst for the upcoming season, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.

Fessler played for the Nittany Lions from 2014-17. Throughout his career, he appeared in 16 games and only attempted two passes, completing one for eight yards. He mostly served as a holder for field goals.

Fessler had served as a graduate assistant for the Buckeyes from 2020-21 before moving to Akron to become the Zips offensive coordinator. He was set to work under UCLA coach Chip Kelly before Kelly took the Ohio State offensive coordinator job.

Fessler is set to return to Happy Valley on November 2 as Penn State hosts the Buckeyes.
