Three-Star Athlete Lavar Arrington II Commits To Penn State Football

Class of 2025 three-star athlete Lavar Arrington II has committed to Penn State football, he announced Thursday, July 4. Yes, that Lavar Arrington II.

Arrington, the son of legendary Penn State linebacker Lavar Arrington, hails from Covina, California. He’s rated as the No. 39 athlete in the nation and the No. 45 overall player in his home state, per the 247Sports Composite rankings. Arrington committed to a Penn State recruiting class ranked No. 9 in the country by the same metric.

Arrington, who stands at 6’3″ and 215 pounds, plays wide receiver, tight end, and linebacker for Charter Oak. As a receiver, Arrington caught six passes for 69 yards and two touchdowns, per his MaxPreps profile. On defense, he recorded 65 tackles, 12 sacks, and nine quarterback hurries.
