Your Official Arts Fest 2024 Drinking Game

Arts Fest has returned once again, folks.

With Arts Fest 2024 ready to kick off this week, it’s time to celebrate one of Central Pennsylvania’s best events of the summer. This week, State College will be filled with artwork, live performances, entertainment, and drunk festival-goers, naturally. With another year of Arts Fest festivities on the way, this weekend is sure to be one for the books.

Whether it’s your first Arts Fest or your 20th, take a look at our official Arts Fest 2024 drinking game.

  • Drink if you took a day off from your internship or summer lifestyle to drink in State College instead.
  • Take a shot if plan on getting hammered Wednesday through Sunday.
  • Take a group shot if you’re taking on the weekend ahead with your Penn State crew, family, or old friends.
  • If you had to drive through Altoona or Amish land to get here for any reason, have a drink.
  • Chug your drink if you’re crashing on a friend’s couch because your lease doesn’t start until August.
  • Finish two drinks if your friend is crashing on your couch for the same reason. Extra roommates are always fun, right?
  • Take a sip for every piece of art that makes you verbally say “oooh” or “ahhh.”
  • Take a swig if this is your first time day drinking or on a bender since May.
  • Take a sip every time you walk past construction on campus or downtown.
  • Have a shot if this is your first Arts Fest.
  • If you find yourself sampling various local ales at the Tasting Trail Craft Beverage Expo, crack open a beer and chug for three seconds.
  • Enjoy a few sips if you spot anyone making a TikTok about their week at Arts Fest, but only if they use “Please, Please, Please” by Sabrina Carpenter as the sound.
  • For every piece of artwork you buy, treat yourself to a shot.
  • Take a sip if you’re just glad to be away from your hometown for a couple of days and drinking back at Dear Old State.
  • Finish your drink of choice if you missed the crisp, refreshing tastes of a classic Dirty Sprite You deserve it.
  • Take a sip, and then a bigger sip, for every line you wait in longer than 30 minutes.
  • If you didn’t get lucky and secure student football tickets, drink away your sorrows and swing back a shot or two. Hang in there, champ.
  • From My Hero Zero to OK Otter, take a drink if you heard your favorite local band play live.
  • If you bought any art at all, start drinking to forget before the credit card bill is due.

Have a great Arts Fest, and please remember to drink responsibly.
