Three-Star Running Back Kiandrea Barker Decommits From Penn State Football

Class of 2025 three-star running back Kiandrea Barker has decommitted from Penn State football, he announced Tuesday. Barker was committed to the Nittany Lions for 18 months.

“At this time, I think it is best for me to decommit from Penn State,” Barker wrote. “I am still considering Penn State. However, I think it is best for me to see other places to compare considering I only took one official visit.”

Barker committed to Penn State after visiting the Blue-White Game in 2023. While he originally committed as a four-star recruit and the ninth-best running back in the country, the 247Sports Composite rankings now place Barker as a three-star and the No. 55 running back in America.

With Barker’s commitment, 247Sports’ Composite rankings now have Penn State as the No. 15 recruiting group in the class of 2025. James Franklin and Co. still have running backs Jabree Wallace-Coleman and Tiqwai Hayes committed to the program.
