Penn State Women’s Soccer’s Jordan Fusco Named TopDrawerSoccer National Player Of The Week

Penn State women’s soccer forward Jordan Fusco was named the National Player of the Week by TopDrawerSoccer in week one of the 2024 season. Fusco notched a goal and an assist in a 4-0 win over Texas Tech.

Fusco started her Penn State career with a bang scoring less than seven minutes into her debut match against the then-No. 8 Red Raiders. The early success propelled the senior the rest of the match as her constant pressing and calculated movements helped the Nittany Lions score thrice more in the first half.

Fusco and the rest of the Nittany Lions will take on No. 21 Virginia on Thursday, August 22, in Happy Valley. The game is set for 5:30 p.m. after the annual March to the Match event.
