Dan Chisena Released By Arizona Cardinals

Former Penn State wide receiver Dan Chisena was released by the Arizona Cardinals, the team announced on Tuesday.

Chisena began his career with Penn State football in 2015 but ran track from 2016-18 before going back to the football team in 2018. Chisena didn’t see much action in his first year back, but played in 12 games in 2019, making two starts.

After his time with Penn State, Chisena signed as an undrafted free agent with the Minnesota Vikings after the 2020 NFL Draft. Chisena spent three years with the Vikings in limited action before bouncing to the Steelers, Vikings, Cardinals, and Ravens before going back to the Cardinals for the preseason.
