Brandon Smith Signed To Philadelphia Eagles Practice Squad

Former Penn State football linebacker Brandon Smith has been signed to the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad, the team announced on Wednesday. Smith was signed to the practice squad after being waived by the Eagles on Tuesday.

Smith played for Penn State from 2019-22, totaling 126 tackles and one interception during his three years in Happy Valley. The linebacker was drafted No. 120 in the 2022 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers and appeared in 12 games during his rookie season, notching eight total tackles.

In January, Smith signed a futures contract with the Eagles. He made two total tackles during the 2024 preseason.
