Report: Sean Clifford Signing With Green Bay Packers Practice Squad

Former Penn State football quarterback Sean Clifford will sign with the Green Bay Packers practice squad, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Clifford was released by the Packers a day earlier.

Clifford spent six years in the blue and white and became the program leader in wins as a starting quarterback (32), completion percentage (.614), completions (833), passing yards (10,661), total yards (11,734), passing touchdowns (86) and pass attempts (1,356). After graduating in 2022, Clifford was selected 149th overall in the 2023 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers.

After a strong 2023 preseason, Clifford spent the 2023 season as the backup behind Jordan Love and completed one pass for 37 yards.
