Penn State Women’s Volleyball Ranked No. 7 In AVCA Poll

Penn State women’s volleyball was ranked No. 7 in the latest AVCA poll, the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced. The Nittany Lions didn’t move from their preseason ranking after notching wins against Tennessee on Friday, August 30, and Temple on Sunday, September 1.

Penn State is one of four Big Ten teams ranked in the top 10. The Nittany Lions sit behind Nebraska (No. 2) and Wisconsin (No. 6), and are ahead of Purdue (No. 8).

Penn State returns to action on Tuesday, September 3, as it hosts Louisville at 7:30 p.m. in Rec Hall. Later, the Nittany Lions will travel to Lexington to play two games against Kentucky on Friday, September 6, and Ball State on Saturday, September 7.
