Kaitlyn MacBean Receives Big Ten Offensive Player Of The Week Honors

Penn State women’s soccer forward Kaitlyn MacBean was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.

MacBean recorded her third and fourth career multi-goal games this past week, scoring all five of the Nittany Lion’s goals.

MacBean started in both of Penn State’s games, scoring three times against West Virginia and twice against No. 19 Saint Louis. Her goals placed her third in the Penn State record books for consecutive games with a goal, dating back to the Nittany Lions NCAA quarter-final run last season.

Penn State will next travel to Princeton, New Jersey, to take on Princeton at 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 5.
