Your Official Penn State-Kent State Drinking Game

We are…back in Beaver Stadium this weekend, folks!

Another Penn State home game comes with, you guessed it, a whole lot of drinking and tailgating. With that comes our beloved drinking game.

While you venture through the tailgate lots and head over into Beaver Stadium, follow along with some beverages, and of course, this matchup’s drinking game. Remember that the most important rule of this game is to drink!

Crack open a cold one, and let’s get into another gameday drinking game.

  • To start things off strong, throw back a shot and blast Zombie Nation. It’s time to get hyped!
  • Once you and your friends are at your first tailgating destination, take a group shot or shotgun.
  • If your family or friends are visiting this weekend, chug your drink for five seconds with them.
  • If you wait in the Gate A line for more than 30 minutes, swing back a shot.
  • Take a sip every time Penn State gets a first down.
  • Take a shot if you make it in the S-Zone.
  • Have a sip every time you hear someone making a guess at what Kent State’s mascot is.
  • Shotgun a brew if there’s a turnover within the first five minutes of the game.
  • Finish your drink if there’s a touchdown pass over 30 yards by Penn State.
  • Drink every time someone gets thrown in the air after a touchdown.
  • Take a shot every time Kent State scores to wash the pain away.
  • Take two sips every time Penn State’s defense holds Kent State to a three-and-out.
  • Have a sip every time there’s a big special teams play.
  • Every time you hear the classic lion roar, take a sip.
  • Have a shot every time the Nittany Lion breaks out into song and dance or if he changes into a costume.
  • Finish your drink before the start of the second half and crack open another brew.
  • Take a sip for every end zone celebration or dance you see from any of the Nittany Lions.
  • Have a few sips if the Blue Band performs Sabrina Carpenter or Chappel Roan.
  • Take a shot if Penn State scores on the opening drive of either half.
  • Take a sip for every punt.
    • Bonus: If “the kick is good,” take another.
  • Finish your drink if Penn State’s backups come in at any point of the game.
  • If Penn State secures another win, take as many shots as your heart desires.

As always, stay safe and drink responsibly!
