[Photo Story] 2024 Allen Street Jam

Do you hear that? That’s the Allen Street Jam, folks!

Penn State Homecoming is back in State College, and the work week kicked off with the Allen Street Jam on Monday, filled with free food and drinks, live music, and a formal introduction to the Homecoming Court.

Our photographers were on Allen Street capturing all the fun, despite the less-than-ideal weather conditions earlier in the day.

Once you walked onto Allen Street, you were bound to see some familiar faces, particularly a quite popular mascot.

There were plenty of options for food, with tables for popcorn, snow cones, cotton candy, and more.

The Allen Street Jam had the tunes covered, as several bands put together live performances throughout the day to soundtrack the event.

The community got to see the art on display and even interacted with some of the creative pieces.

As the evening winded down, folks were formally introduced to the 2024 Homecoming Court, which included the Alumni Court, University Court, and 12 undergraduate and graduate honorees.

The jam ended with a dance contest, featuring multiple student dance organizations across campus coming together to put on a show for the community.

That’s a wrap on the 2024 Allen Street Jam, here’s to another year of Homecoming!
