Pop Up Ave Market Returns To State College On October 12 

Pop Up Ave is back, folks!

Located on the 100 block of South Fraser Street in State College, the outdoor market is set to run from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 12. The event will feature over 30 vendors, multiple live musical performances, and an assortment of the best local eats. 

Pop Up Ave is free and open to the public, with multiple popular businesses selling locally-made items, from art to flower arrangements, jewelry, and more. 

Throughout the event, attendants can enjoy a slate of jam-packed live entertainment at the stage located near the Elk Creek Cafe. This will include musical performances from the 2024 Battle of the Bands winner Hot Fudge Yacht Club, Crater and the Catalyst, Psychic Beat, and DJ Elbow Knee Knee. 

Be sure to save your appetite as Pop Up Ave will feature some of the top local food vendors in downtown State College. From Bonnie Blue’s BBQ to Super Duper Cafe and Sunny Cup Coffee, there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy. Elk Creek Cafe will also host a beer garden by the stage in MLK Plaza.
