Transfer Portal Roundup: Week Six

Penn State football took care of business on Saturday afternoon with a 27-11 win against UCLA.

While the Nittany Lions, unlike much of the top 10, avoided upset, former Penn State players had success in other places.

Here’s how some those players performed this week.

KeAndre Lambert-Smith

Wide receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith recorded a season-high seven receptions for 95 yards in Auburn’s loss to No. 5 Georgia. The former Penn State star receiver has excelled as a Tiger, as he has emerged as Auburn’s top receiver leading the team in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns.

London Montgomery

Running back London Montgomery showed off his big-play ability for East Carolina on Saturday with an explosive 48-yard carry, his best run of the season. Montgomery finished with three touches, 56 yards, and a touchdown in the Pirates’ 55-24 loss to Charlotte.

Malick Meiga

Wide receiver Malick Meiga hauled two catches for 20 yards in Coastal Carolina’s win over Old Dominion. Thus far this season, Meiga has six catches for 111 yards.

Jordan Van Den Berg

Defensive lineman Jordan Van Den Berg recorded his first sack of the season for Georgia Tech in a victory over their conference rival Duke. The former rugby player from South Africa put up a season-best three solo tackles.

Cristian Driver

Wide receiver Cristian Driver contributed one catch for six yards in Minnesota’s upset win over former No. 11 USC.
