Nick Singleton Back In Lineup Against USC

Running back Nick Singleton is primed to return against USC after he was not listed on the team’s availability report.

Singleton was listed as questionable and warmed up last week against UCLA but was ruled out at kickoff. Without Singleton, Kaytron Allen had 78 yards on 21 rushes and a touchdown. Singleton is Penn State’s leading rusher with 53 carries for 408 yards and three touchdowns.

Offensive lineman Anthony Donkoh is also not listed on this week’s report after exiting the game against UCLA last Saturday.

Wide receiver and punt returner Kaden Saunders is out for a second straight week. Cornerback Zion Tracy was the team’s punt returner a week ago and James Franklin said Wednesday that he expects Tracy to continue to get reps against USC.

Jake Spencer is also out, according to the availability report. Spencer took reps as the punt returner in Saunders’s absence as well.
