Penn State Women’s Soccer Climbs To No. 16 In United Soccer Coaches Poll

Penn State women’s soccer moved up to No. 16 from No. 20 in this week’s United Soccer Coaches Poll. After a dominant win over Maryland and a nail-biter against Minnesota, the Nittany Lions find themselves primed for some late-season movement in the poll.

Other Big Ten teams in the rankings include No. 9 USC, No. 10 UCLA, No. 14 Iowa, No. 15 Ohio State, and No. 21 Michigan State.

Penn State’s final three games of the season are all away games, at UCLA, USC, and Ohio State, respectively. The Nittany Lions sit at 11-3-2 overall and 5-2-1 in Big Ten play, good for sixth in the conference.

Penn State’s last regular season push begins at 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, as the Nittany Lions take on the Bruins in Los Angeles.
