Freeze Thaw Cycle Moving To West College Avenue In January 2025

Freeze Thaw Cycle, a bike shop on Allen Street in State College, is planning on moving its location to 1400 West College Avenue by January 2025, the company announced on Facebook.

The shop is still open for business, though its crew is split to work on the move from its 109 S. Allen St. location. The downtown shop is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.

“The Sales & Service area will be over 3,000 square feet, in addition to a large storage warehouse out back,” the owner, Justin Wagner, wrote. “Our parking lot holds more cars than all of Allen Street and we look forward to sharing our vision of an FTC Complex with our customers and friends.

“THANK YOU to our loyal supporters for allowing us to grow the business since 2005,” Wagner wrote. “The Shoppe will turn 20 in May and we look forward to celebrating with everyone in our new digs! More details to follow as we make the new space our own.”
