Penn State Football Rises To No. 3 In AP Poll

Penn State football stayed at No. 3 in the AP Poll on Sunday afternoon. The Nittany Lions remained at the position for the second week after their second bye week, though some shifts came in the top five slots of the poll after Georgia upset Texas in Austin.

The Big Ten controlled much of top of this week’s poll. Oregon is ranked No. 1, Penn State is ranked No. 3, and Ohio State is ranked No. 4. After a win over Michigan, Illinois is ranked No. 20, and undefeated Indiana is ranked No. 13.

The SEC’s No. 2 Georgia and No. 5 Texas rounded out the rest of the top five.

After taking time off after a win over USC, Penn State will hit the road again to take on Wisconsin at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, at Camp Randall Stadium. The game will be broadcast on NBC.
