Report: Donald Trump Planning To Attend Penn State-Ohio State

Penn State responded to Onward State’s request for comment on former President Donald Trump considering attending the Penn State football game against Ohio State.

“The University has been notified that a private citizen has invited former President Donald Trump to attend the Ohio State-Penn State football game as a guest in their suite,” Penn State spokesperson Wyatt DuBois told Onward State.

“The U.S. Secret Service is working with University Police and Public Safety and other state and local law enforcement on safety and security measures that are put into place around the presence of presidential candidates. With that in mind, we encourage fans, anyone visiting campus, and all those attending the game to arrive early to the game or to their intended destinations.”

Former President Donald Trump will attend the Penn State football game against Ohio State, according to Yahoo Sports’ Ross Dellenger. The game is set to kick off at noon on Saturday, November 2, at Beaver Stadium, three days before the end of the presidential election.

Trump was already set to come to Penn State on Saturday, October 26, to the Bryce Jordan Center.

Trump’s appearance at Penn State will be his second college football game appearance after going to the Georgia-Alabama game in September.

Politicians and their campaigns have stormed State College in the lead-up to Election Day 2024. Former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy appeared at the Sparks Building on Thursday, October 17, and Democratic congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez appeared at the State Theatre on Friday, October 18. A “Team Trump Bus Tour” visited State College on Tuesday, October 22.

Republican U.S. Senate candidate David McCormick will also be in Happy Valley for the Ohio State game hosting a tailgate.

Election Day is set for Tuesday, November 5. The last day to register to vote in Pennsylvania was Monday, October 21.
