Brainstorming What More Penn Staters Would Give Out On Halloween

It’s time for trick and treats, Penn State!

The highly anticipated Halloweekend has arrived finally and will be filled with lots of candy, out-of-the-box costumes, and immaculate vibes. A few years ago, we brainstormed what famous Penn Staters would give out on Halloween. With all this holiday spirit, we got to thinking about what some more familiar faces would give out on Halloween.

From mini footballs to Gatorade to lion ears, here’s what we think notable Penn Staters would give out to Trick-or-Treaters.

Neeli Bendapudi

Neeli Bendapudi definitely has a sweet spot for the classics.

We’re betting she’ll be outside Old Main, handing out beloved freshly baked West Hall cookies, along with some classic Werther’s Originals for a nostalgic touch. She is a grandmother, after all.

Stephen Nedoroscik

America’s favorite gymnast and current Dancing With The Stars competitor Stephen Nedoroscik, also known as Pommel Horse Guy, would give out handfuls of Hershey Kisses to show his love for his fans, along with his autograph, if you’re lucky. If you’re even more lucky, he may just break out into dance or show you a cool gymnastics trick.

Katie Feeney

If you know or have seen Penn State’s most famous influencer on social media, you know that Katie Feeney loves Poppi and Celsius. It only makes sense for her to hand them out to trick-or-treaters to give them more energy. On the other hand, it would be pretty on-brand if she gave away mini ring lights for all the mini influencers out there, too. No one leaves Feeney’s house without a quick Halloween dance for TikTok.

Drew Allar & Beau Pribula

These star quarterbacks have one thing in mind: football — even on Halloween! Naturally, Drew Allar and Beau Pribula most likely give out mini footballs. It’s safe to expect to catch a mini football or two or maybe a quick lift session, too. Hopefully, they’ll also give us a lot of successful touchdowns this weekend, too.

Nittany Lion

There’s no guessing what The Symbol Of Our Best would give out: Take 5 bars. This candy brings the energy and is a crowd pleaser — just like the Nittany Lion is. Everyone would most likely go home with a pair of lion ears after being asked to show off their best lion roar.

Captain Uber

Although he might not be known by all, Captain Uber is arguably the best Uber in downtown State College and campus, as he gives students an experience rather than a normal ride. He’d give out skipper’s hats that match his, Hawaiian leis, and Almond Joy candy bars, matching his vibe and brand.

Mike Rhoades

Mike Rhoades would bring his competitive edge to Halloween by setting up a mini hoop challenge in his driveway. Just like at the recent Ball at East Halls event, Rhoades would offer cash prizes to all the kiddos who have what it takes. Make a three-pointer, and that’s $5 right in your treat bag!

DJ Yemi & DJ Rictor

If DJ Yemi and DJ Rictor were to throw a Halloween rager in their backyard, that would be a treat in itself. Trick-or-treaters would get Champs koozies, tees, and some famous “Dirty Sprites” to keep the energy high, just like on a Champs dance floor. Kids would be given Sprite with just grenadine, obviously.

Nick Singleton

Nick Singleton stays hydrated, and he’d make sure everyone else does, too. Thanks to his Gatorade partnership, he’ll be handing out sports drinks to keep Happy Valley fueled and ready for a night of trick-or-treating along with gameday this weekend.
