Class Of 2027 Four-Star Offensive Lineman Layton Von Brandt Commits To Penn State Football

Class of 2027 four-star offensive tackle Layton Von Brandt has committed to Penn State football, he announced about an hour before kickoff of the White Out game against Washington on Saturday evening.

The Middletown, Delaware, native stands at 6’6″ and 255 pounds. He is the No. 1 player out of Delaware and the No. 4 offensive tackle in the nation, according to 247Sports.

Von Brandt is the second recruit in Penn State’s class of 2027. He joins running back Kemon Spell, who committed in August. Von Brandt and Spell now make up the No. 2 class in the country, per the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Von Brandt chose the Nittany Lions over Rutgers, Indiana, Georgia, and West Virginia. To see what Von Brandt brings to Penn State, check out his Hudl here.
