[Photo Story] Penn State Men’s Soccer’s 2024 Season

After finishing second in the Big Ten last year, Penn State men’s soccer left much to be desired this season. The team finished last in the Big Ten and lost its last game of the season 4-1 to Northwestern.

Despite this, there were still plenty of memorable moments from the season. Whether it was an electric goal, an amazing celebration, or a moment of passion, our photographers were there to capture it all. We’ve compiled some of our photographers’ best shots from Penn State men’s soccer’s 2024 season

The Nittany Lions always played with passion, fighting for every loose ball.

Penn State finished with an overall 5-9-2 record and a 2-6-2 record in conference play.

This team put home-field advantage to use as it only lost once in its nine games at Jeffrey Field, including a 4-0 win over St. Bonaventure on September 2.

One of the bright spots on the team was center-forward Malick Daouda, who earned All-Big Ten Freshman Team honors with two goals and a 45% shot on target percentage.

Penn State men’s soccer always took the field in style, rocking several of its signature kits, including the classic black and pink alternates.

There were plenty of scoring opportunities to go around as Penn State scored 21 goals on the season.

The Nittany Lions left everything on the field, playing with relentless energy and intensity…

…all while still leaving time for the fans!

As the team looks toward next season, we’ll be grateful for the moments that the 2024 team provided.
