[Photo Story] Penn State Celebrates 100 Days ‘Til THON

It’s that time again, Penn State! With just 100 days until THON 2025, the excitement is already in full swing.

As students gear up for another 46-hour dance marathon slated for February 21 to 23, Penn State students celebrated the milestone with a bang. The 2.5-week fundraiser garnered a record-breaking $1,926,461.87 For The Kids to kick off the season of THON.

From silent discos and epic dance-offs to heartfelt hair donations and freshly cut locks, this year’s 100 Days ‘Til THON was an electric kickoff to the countdown, and our photographers were on the scene to capture all the action.

The event featured many activities such as caricature drawings, live dances, pep rallies, and more.

A fan favorite was the silent disco.

After the disco wrapped up, students swarmed the high school musical steps to hear from THON children and artists while seeing their peers donate their hair For The Kids.

After a celebratory line dance, all eyes were on the stairs as students eagerly awaited the results of their fundraising efforts.

After hearing from one of the directors about the impact of Four Diamonds, students celebrated exceeding their fundraising goal by almost $1 million.

We dance in 99, folks!
