[Photo Story] Campus Rec Hosts Battleship At McCoy Natatorium

Sink or be sunk.

On Sunday, November 17, Campus Recreation turned the McCoy Natatorium into a watery battleground for its annual live battleship event.

In teams of three, participants piled into canoes armed with buckets, water guns, and relentless determination. The pool erupted into chaos as alliances were formed, rivalries were born, and laughter echoed off the walls. By the end, the only thing wetter than the sinking teams was the sheer excitement radiating from the spectators.

Take a look through the lens of our photographers on the scene to capture all the action.

The event kicked off with catchy team names like “We’re The Captain Now”, “Ship-faced”, and “The S.S. Sinkers.”

The teams got not only a fun experience but also a good workout while paddling around the pool.

Spectators and those waiting for their turn got to participate as well by throwing buckets of water from the sidelines.

Ultimately, only the most strategic teams survived and made it to the finals round.

Winner or not, a good time was had by all.
