Taylor Trammell Selected By Indy Ignite In Third Round Of Pro Volleyball Federation Draft

Taylor Trammell, a Penn State women’s volleyball middle blocker, was selected with the No. 4 pick in the third round by the Indy Ignite in Monday’s Pro Volleyball Federation draft.

Trammell, who is in her third season as a Nittany Lion, has a career-high 208 kills on a .446 hitting percentage this season. The 6’2″ fifth-year senior also has 105 total blocks on the year.

Having spent two seasons at Purdue before transferring to Happy Valley, Trammell will return to Indiana following her graduation from Penn State.

While the Pro Volleyball Federation will begin its second season in January 2025, the Indy Ignite enter the league as a new expansion team, and didn’t compete last year.

Trammell will continue to play for Penn State before joining the Ignite, with the Nittany Lions’ next match coming at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27, at Rutgers.
