Your Official Penn State-Maryland Drinking Game

Happy Thanksgiving weekend, folks. There is no better way to wrap up a holiday weekend than with a Penn State victory.

This week is simple: win and the Nittany Lions are in the College Football Playoff, probably hosting a first-round game.

Anyway, let’s get drinking. It’s time to go Terrapin hunting.

  • If you made it back to State College for the game, take a shot. You’re a warrior.
  • You know what? If you made it back, take another shot. You go, champ.
  • If you’re stressed about the playoffs, take a long sip. So are we, and that’s OK. We’re in this together.
  • If you’re thankful for Penn State football, take a sip.
  • Look around you. If there’s someone next to you, give them a sip. It’s officially the season of giving, folks. We don’t make the rules.
  • If Penn State scores on the first drive of the game, take a shot.
  • If the announcers mention Penn State’s schedule, take a heavy sip. Strength of record is the better stat anyway.
  • If Kaytron Allen scores, do a little boogy then take a shot. LAWWWWWN BOYZ!
  • Finish your drink if Penn State is winning at halftime.
  • If it starts to rain or snow, take a shot. It’s football weather, so let’s just hope the Big Ten Network doesn’t start overlaying the hashes and yard markers.
  • Every time Tyler Warren touches the ball, take a sip. Get this man to New York.
  • If Penn State keeps the game close, start drinking. It doesn’t matter what but don’t stop unless the Nittany Lions grow the lead or win the game.
  • If one of the teams around Penn State in the playoff rankings loses, finish your drink. We’ll take all the help we can get.
  • If Drew Allar runs it in, take an enjoyable sip. Josh Allen who?
  • Great teams cover, so finish your drink if Penn State does that.
  • If Penn State wins, take a shot. Phew.

Have fun and stay safe this weekend, folks. We are thankful for all of you, and Happy Thanksgiving.
