Report: Former Penn State Football Quarterback Ta’Quan Roberson Entering Transfer Portal

Former Penn State football quarterback Ta’Quan Roberson is entering the transfer portal, according to On3’s Pete Nakos. Roberson is set to enter the portal after spending last year with Kansas State.

Roberson began his collegiate career with Penn State in 2019, where he only attempted one pass in his first season in blue and white. After three years with the Nittany Lions, Roberson transferred to UConn before the 2022 season.

Roberson missed most of his first season with the Huskies after tearing his ACL in the first game of the season. In 2023, Roberson passed for 2,075 yards and 12 touchdowns before transferring to Kansas State for the 2024 season.

Roberson didn’t see much playing time during his lone season with the Wildcats, going 3-of-7 for 18 yards before re-entering the transfer portal.
