Three-Star Tight End Brian Kortovich Flips To Penn State Football From Purdue

Class of 2025 three-star tight end Brian Kortovich has committed to Penn State football, he announced Tuesday afternoon. Kortovich was committed to Purdue until the university fired head coach Ryan Walters over the weekend.

Kortovich stands at 6’4″ and 224 pounds. The Cleveland, Ohio, native is the No. 21-ranked player from the state, the No. 26-ranked tight end in the country, and the No. 519-ranked player nationally, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

By the same metric, Kortovich joins the Nittany Lions’ 18th-ranked recruitment class in the nation and is the 26th overall commit in the recruiting class of 2025.
