Reintroducing Onward State’s Penn State Football Student Ticket Exchange For The Postseason

Penn State football is moving onto the postseason, folks.

With the Nittany Lions’ success, Onward State has reopened its Penn State student ticket exchange for the postseason. Because Penn State Athletics isn’t offering its ticket exchange for the postseason, we felt it was time for us to step up to the plate.

Since Penn State students can only get tickets for one postseason game at a time, we’ll update the exchange one game at a time. Tickets will initially be available for the Big Ten Championship game, and any transferable tickets in the College Football Playoff will be made available for transfer on our exchange board should Penn State move far enough along. Please note that tickets for a home playoff game in Beaver Stadium will not be available on our exchange board as they are not transferable. If future playoff games are not available for transfer, they also will not be on the exchange board.

Onward State doesn’t charge any fees for its service, but it’s also not responsible for transactions. We’re simply a matching service connecting buyers to sellers. What happens after two people begin talking to sell a ticket is out of our control.

We give students a single platform to access and discuss ticket listings. All available tickets will be easily accessible to those interested. Here’s how it works:

If you’re selling…

  • Go to the Ticket Exchange form to post your ticket
  • Log in with your Penn State email address
  • Select the game you’re selling your ticket for and your price
  • Wait to hear from interested buyers
  • Transfer your ticket to your buyer
  • Notify Onward State when you transfer your ticket so we can remove it to keep our listings up to date. It’s the only way for us to know that your ticket was sold.

If you’re buying…

  • Go to our listings page to view tickets for sale
  • Click the link to email the seller you’re interested in buying from
  • Pay the seller in whatever way you agree (Venmo is convenient, but services like PayPal and Apple Pay work, too. If you need to cancel a purchase for any reason, PayPal and Apple Pay might be the way to go).
  • Enjoy the game!

Again: Onward State is just a matching service. We don’t charge fees, and we are not responsible for what happens during the process of buying and selling a ticket. If you tell someone you want to buy their ticket or sell yours, please go through with your end of the deal. It’s only right.

When your ticket is sold, please let us know. It makes sure that you aren’t getting spammed with emails and keeps our exchange list as compact as possible.

Without further ado, best of luck, folks! Enjoy your Penn State football postseason and good luck finding tickets. If you have any questions about the ticket process, please reach out to [email protected].
