Penn State Libraries To Host ‘De-Stress Fest’ Events Through December 20

With finals week around the corner, the stresses of the academic semester are mounting now more than ever. Penn State University Libraries has students covered with multiple relaxing events as a part of its semesterly De-stress Fest.

Running from Tuesday, December 10, through Friday, December 20, Penn State will serve students with free snacks, games, coffee, and more. Here are the events that Penn State has to offer for folks feeling overwhelmed with their schoolwork.

Tuesday, December 10, to Thursday, December 12, At The Architecture & Landscape Architecture Library

In the Architecture and Landscape Architecture Library, folks can find puzzles, snacks, and crafts available every day from 5 to 9 p.m. from Tuesday, December 10, through Thursday, December 12. The Architecture and Landscape Architecture Library is located on the first floor of the Stuckeman Family Building.

Sunday, December 15, To Tuesday, December 17, At The Pattee & Paterno Libraries

From Sunday, December 15, to Tuesday, December 17, Penn State will offer free coffee, snacks, and crafts from 3 to 8 p.m. in the Leisure Reading Room of the Pattee and Paterno Libraries.

Monday, December 16, To Thursday, December 19, At The Engineering Library

In the Engineering Library, coloring, puzzles, and crafts will be available for students throughout the day from Monday, December 16, to Thursday, December 19. There will also be snacks and beverages while supplies last.

Monday, December 16, To Thursday, December 19, At The Fletcher L. Byrom Earth & Mineral Sciences Library

In the Fletcher L. Byrom Earth and Mineral Sciences Library, coloring and jigsaw puzzles will be provided all day from Monday, December 16, to Thursday, December 19. There will also be snacks, a food pantry, and plenty of spaces for studying needs.

Folks can find the library in room 105 in the Deike Building.

Monday, December 16, To Thursday, December 19, At The Physical & Mathematical Sciences Library

The Physical and Mathematical Sciences Library will have coloring, jigsaw puzzles, origami, and wellness boxes available throughout the day from Monday, December 16, to Thursday, December 19, along with snacks.

Folks can find the library in room 201 of the Davey Lab.
