Five Academic Buildings To Stay Open 24/7 For Finals Week

Five academic buildings across Penn State will remain open on a 24/7 schedule as a place for students to study for upcoming finals, the university announced Tuesday. The change will go into effect starting Thursday, December 12, and will last until 11 p.m. on Friday, December 20.

The affected buildings will be Boucke, Hammond, Osmond, Thomas, and Willard. The HUB will also remain on its 24-hour schedule.

There will be no need for students to reserve spaces in any of these buildings, which will serve as study spaces regardless of college. To view classroom availabilities, students can visit the Penn State Map and use the Classroom Availability filter. This filter will allow students to find unoccupied classroom availabilities, daily schedules, and hours of operation for all General-Purpose Classrooms at University Park.
