Penn State Women’s Volleyball Calls For NCAA Tournament Quarterfinal White Out

Get ready for another White Out, folks.

Penn State women’s volleyball has called for White Out conditions for its NCAA Tournament quarterfinal matchup against Creighton at Rec Hall on Sunday. The match will start at 8:30 p.m. and will serve as Penn State’s second White Out of the season after the annual Wear White game against Oregon in October.

The announcement comes after the Nittany Lions took down Marquette on Friday in the third round of the NCAA Tournament to advance to the quarterfinals. Now, they will take on the No. 2-seeded Creighton Bluejays, who defeated Texas yesterday, for a trip to the Final Four.

With the match serving as its last this season at Rec Hall, the team has called for a White Out in hopes of creating a hostile environment for Creighton in the regional final.

The match will start at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN. The winner will take on the winner of Wisconsin-Nebraska in the semifinals of the NCAA Tournament.
