Kaytron Allen To Return To Penn State Football For 2025 Season

Penn State football running back Kaytron Allen will return to the program for the 2025 season, he announced Monday. Allen’s announcement came moments after fellow star running back Nick Singleton declared his decision to return.

“Playing in front of these fans has been an experience I will never forget,” Allen wrote. “I love playing football and being able to play it in front of these great Penn State fans has made it extra special. I look forward to it again next season.”

Allen burst onto the scene along with Nick Singleton in 2022, rushing for 867 yards and 10 touchdowns during his true freshman season in the blue and white. Allen added 20 receptions for 188 yards and a touchdown through the air, bringing his total to 1,055 yards from scrimmage.

The running back followed up his successful freshman year with 902 yards on the ground while averaging 5.2 yards per carry.

Allen once again appeared in every game during the 2024 regular season where he amassed 822 yards and six rushing touchdowns along with two receiving touchdowns on 15 receptions and 119 yards.

Allen joins Drew AllarZakee WheatleyZane Durant, and Singleton as Nittany Lions who have announced they’ll return for the 2025 season.
