Nick Singleton Still Enrolled At Penn State Despite Absence From Student Directory
Update, 11:43 a.m.:
Penn State running back Nick Singleton is still enrolled at Penn State despite not appearing in the student directory, a Penn State Athletics spokesperson told Onward State.
“Nicholas Singleton is still enrolled in spring classes at the university,” spokesperson Greg Kincaid wrote. “We do not have any explanation as to why he is not listed in the university’s directory at this time.”
Original post:
Penn State football star running back Nick Singleton appears to be no longer enrolled at Penn State after his name was removed from the student directory ahead of the start of the spring 2025 semester. Fellow star running back Kaytron Allen still appears in the directory.
It is not confirmed if Singleton has entered the transfer portal or declared for the 2025 NFL Draft.
Singleton is coming off a career season with the Nittany Lions. He posted a career-high 1,099 yards and 12 touchdowns and averaged 6.4 yards per carry. Singleton also had 41 receptions for 375 yards and five touchdowns out of the backfield.
The junior running back was a five-star prospect from Governor Mifflin High School in Reading, Pennsylvania. He was the No. 1 player from Pennsylvania, the No. 1 running back, and the No. 31 overall player in the country in the class of 2022, per the 247Sports Composite rankings.
K.J. Winston, Abdul Carter, Jalen Kimber, and Jaylen Reed have already declared for the NFL Draft. Feyisayo Oluleye, Jerry Cross, T.A. Cunningham, and Beau Pribula have entered the transfer portal, and Cam Miller has reportedly done the same.
Penn State Athletics did not respond to a request for comment from Onward State on Monday morning.
