Penn State Men’s Volleyball Slides To No. 17 In AVCA Poll After 0-4 Start

Penn State men’s volleyball fell to No. 17 in the AVCA Coaches Poll, released on Monday afternoon. This came after losses to then-No. 1 UCLA and then-No. 11 Stanford in the First Point Collegiate Challenge in Austin, Texas.
So far, this season has been rough for the Nittany Lions, losing their first four matches by a combined 12 sets to two. With an 0-4 record, the Nittany Lions are off to their worst start since 1999 after losing several key players from last year’s EIVA championship team.
Penn State will look to bounce back with a home-and-home split series against Ohio State. The first match will be played at 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 23, while the return match will be played at 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, in Columbus.
