Penn State Women’s Lacrosse Ellie Hollin Named USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason First-Team All-American

Penn State women’s lacrosse defender Ellie Hollin was named USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason First-Team All-American, the outlet announced on Wednesday.

Hollin has been a starter for the Nittany Lions she stepped on campus and racked up multiple All-American nominations in the three years since.

Heading into the 2025 season, Hollin is ranked as the No. 18 player in the country by Inside Lacrosse, and for good reason.

In 2024, she had 21 groundballs and 21 caused turnovers. Her stick skills were also on display throughout the season as she played a vital part in the transition game for Penn State.

Hollin and the rest of the Nittany Lions will open the season against Richmond at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, in Panzer Stadium.
