Puppy Named ‘Saquon Barky’ To Compete In 2025 Puppy Bowl

The world’s cutest puppy is named after Saquon Barkley, folks.

Saquon Barky, a Bernese mountain dog and an Australian shepherd mix, is set to headline this year’s Puppy Bowl on Sunday. The pup hails from the Providence Animal Center in Media, Pennsylvania, which is the perfect location for those “outside-of-Philly” folks. He will be playing for Team Ruff.

The Puppy Bowl, an annual “football game” between puppies before the Super Bowl, will host its most puppies ever this year. It will be three hours long, involving 142 rescue puppies from 80 different shelters across 40 states.

The show will feature the dog’s journeys from birth to where they are now. This will include the adoption and rescue process.

All dogs from the Providence Animal Center, including Saquon Barky, can be adopted in person at 555 Sandy Bank Rd., Media, Pennsylvania, or can be applied for on its website.

The Puppy Bowl will be broadcast on Animal Planet, Discovery, TBS, truTV, Max, and Discovery+ at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 9.
