Report: Former Penn State Co-Offensive Coordinator Tyler Bowen Named Ohio State Offensive Line Coach

Former Penn State football co-offensive coordinator and tight end Tyler Bowen is set to become the offensive line coach for Ohio State, per On3’s Pete Nakos.

Bowen worked for Penn State from 2018 to 2020, serving as the offensive recruiting coordinator and the tight ends coach. In 2019, Bowen was named interim offensive coordinator after Ricky Rahhe took the head coaching job at Old Dominion After the 2019 season, Bowen earned a promotion and became the co-offensive coordinator for the 2020 season.

Bowen also served as an offensive graduate assistant for Penn State back in 2014. After the 2020 season, Bowen took an offer from the Jacksonville Jaguars to become their tight ends coach for the 2021 season before becoming Virginia Tech’s offensive coordinator in 2022 under former Penn State defensive coordinator Brent Pry.
