[Live Blog] THON 2025 Raises $17,737,040.93 For The Kids

THON Weekend 2025 has finally arrived, folks.
After months of preparation by thousands of Penn State students, the 46-hour dance marathon has returned to the Bryce Jordan Center. More than 700 dancers will stand this weekend to raise as much money as they can, all For The Kids.

4:17 p.m.: The THON 2025 total is $17,737,040.93!
4:15 p.m.: The top special interest organization is ATLAS, with $224,275.80 raised.
4:13 p.m.: ATO/ZTA raised $529,003.97, the most of any Greek life organization.
4:12 p.m.: PGN’s $269,881.89 is the most money raised of all the general organizations.
4:11 p.m.: Penn State-Fayette raised the most money of all branch campuses.
4:10 p.m.: Brooke and Jordan Petrone are the top independent dancer couple, with $51,364.21 raised.

10:30 p.m.: The first DJ of THON 2025 is Steve Frisson! Frisson is a Penn State student and member of Delta Sigma Pi. He also performs his music at multiple venues downtown.
10:17 p.m.: The dancers didn’t get much of a break. It’s Line Dance time!
10:09 p.m.: The Fray also did a “We Are” chant as it left the stage and the crowd went nuts. What. A. Performance.
10:08 p.m.: The crowd just sang the final verse to close out The Fray’s set.
10:07 p.m.: “WHERE DID I GO WRONG, I LOST A FRIEND, SOMEWHERE ALONG IN THE BITTERNESS!”
10:05 p.m.: Man, talk about a throwback.
10:04 p.m.: The crowd erupts as The Fray starts playing its biggest hit, “How To Save A Life!”

9:55 p.m.: We forgot to mention that THON staff members passed out light-up bracelets before the national act. The Bryce Jordan Center is lit up right now and everybody is swinging their arms in the air.

5:26 p.m.: The Statesmen, Penn State’s sole all-male a cappella group, are taking the stage to sing the National Anthem.
5:25 p.m.: THON Weekend Kickoff Show is kicking off!
5:15 p.m.: Four Diamonds Executive Director Susan Graney and Stacia Millard Bird, the daughter of Four Diamonds founders Charles and Irma Millard have taken the stage.
5:14 p.m.: The BJC is starting to boom slowly but surely.
5:03 p.m.: State College has officially been declared the City of THON by Ezra Nanes, folks!
5:02 p.m.: Ezra Nanes is on the stage… you know what that means.
5 p.m.: T-minus one hour until dancers stand!
4:50 p.m.: Mayor Ezra Nanes is on the floor of THON 2025!
4:41 p.m.: These dancers look ready to “shake the floor.”
4:38 p.m.: THONward State is so back.
4:31 p.m.: The tunnel is tunneling, folks.
4:28 p.m.: The dancers have arrived to the Bryce Jordan Center, and THON Weekend 2025 is here!
