Trace McSorley & Landon Tengwall Emceeing THON 2025 Pep Rally

Former Penn State football players Trace McSorley and Landon Tengwall are set to emcee the THON 2025 Pep Rally.
McSorley led Penn State to its 2016 Big Ten Championship as the Nittany Lions’ quarterback, breaking records in his career here. The quarterback holds Penn State’s records for wins, completions, and many more.
As a Nittany Lion, he recorded 31 wins, 720 completions, 9,899 passing yards, and 77 passing touchdowns. He also recorded 10 games with at least 300 passing yards, going 31-9 as a starter.
McSorley entered the NFL Draft in 2019, selected No. 197 overall by the Baltimore Ravens. He spent two seasons backing up Lamar Jackson with three appearances before heading over to the Arizona Cardinals. He remained a backup, hopping around teams before most recently being released by the Washington Commanders this August.
Tengwall was from the recruiting class of 2021 as a four-star offensive lineman. He started in five games in 2022 before an injury and retired from football in 2023, citing an injury that would not allow him to safely play anymore.
Since his retirement, he has become an internet personality, racking up followers on social media and talking all things college football. Tengwall has recently created a podcast, interviewing athletes, coaches, and sports personalities.
McSorley and Tengwall will host the THON 2025 Pep Rally together on Saturday night, featuring Penn State Athletics squads fighting to take home the crowd in one of THON’s most popular events. Last year, crowd favorites men’s gymnastics were champions of the talent show.
