Go Go Gadjet Lifts Bryce Jordan Center With THON 2025’s Final Performance

It’s no easy task following up on the Celebration of Life during THON’s Family Hour, but Go Go Gadjet was up to the task. The Pennsylvania-based band has become very famous in the City of THON over the last few years, and this performance proved why.
Go Go Gadjet opened at 3:15 p.m. on Sunday with “Burnin’ Up” by the Jonas Brothers and quickly went into “Super Bass” by Nicki Minaj. Both songs received loud reactions from the crowd who enjoyed the change in tempo from the more emotionally charged songs in the Celebration of Life.
“Temperature” by Sean Paul and “Fire Burning” by Sean Kingston were the next two songs mashed together, keeping the energy high in the Bryce Jordan Center.
Go Go Gadjet is known for 30 songs in 30 minutes during their performances, and they stayed on track for this with a mashup of “Play That Funky Music” by Wild Cherry and Daft Punks’ “Get Lucky”.
The loudest sing-along of the performance came to “Dancing Queen” by ABBA. Go Go Gadjet chose not to mash this one with another song, I mean who would even think about changing that masterpiece?
Instead, the band went right into Miley Cirus’ “Flowers.” Go Go Gadjet spent quite some time on this song before going to “I Had Some Help” by Post Malone.
The band slowed the pace to ask the crowd how everyone was feeling with under an hour left until the dancers could sit down.
A slower pace didn’t mean any less of a banger, “Don’t Stop Believin'” by the Journey once again had most of the crowd yelling along with whatever voice they had left.
Go Go Gadjet then introduced their base player Luke Anderson who played a solo rendition of Eurythmics “Sweet Dreams”. Both singers later joined in a hyped-up Bryce Jordan Center singing along.
As if Go Go Gadjet hadn’t already gotten down to business, they decided to play “The Business” by Tiesto next. They parlayed this with another upbeat song, this time by Calvin Harris, “I Need Your Love.” Claps boomed around the BJC during this song.
In honor of THON 2025, the band asked the crowd to put their diamonds up for a mashup of “Love Tonight” by Shouse and “Million Voices” by Otto Knows.
Go Go Gadjet then asked for the audience’s help with the next song. Spelling out H-O-T-T-O-G-O, most of the BJC knew what was coming next before the letter T. For those at home still confused they played “Hot To Go” By Chappel Roan next.
The last song of the night remained with Roan, this time though it was “Pink Pony Club.” I guess we are dancing at the Pink Pony Club and not the BJC, not sure though.
