The Best of #THON2025 TikTok

The Bryce Jordan Center was certainly BOOMIN’ this past THON Weekend. Of course, so was TikTok.

Dancers, spectators, families, and volunteers filed into the BJC for THON 2025 to dance, stand, raise money, support children and families, and spread awareness for pediatric cancer. With high energy and an amped-up crowd, THON TikTok popped off these last few days.

From behind-the-scenes views in the stands to dancer point-of-views, we compiled our favorite THON 2025 TikToks.

Love is truly all around. THON Weekend proves that every year as Penn State students and community members come together For The Kids, supporting this cause is bigger than ourselves.

Dear Mr. AJ and Big Justice, please come to THON 2026 or Penn State in general. We’re begging. If this video isn’t a good enough reason, then I guess we’ll have to write an extensive open letter.

A before and after look of THON dancers never gets old. These ladies were two of 708 dancers who successfully accomplished no sleeping and no sitting for 46 hours.

A subtle “Camp Rock” Easter egg in the THON 2025 Line Dance was not on our 2025 bingo card, but we’re here for it. If it weren’t for Katie Feeney’s post, we wouldn’t have cracked this one ourselves. Huge shoutout to you, Katie.

Forty-six hours and seven(ish) meals later, these dancers pushed through all weekend long, but not on an empty stomach, of course.

Another post from Feeney, but how could we not include it when Onward State’s very own Jack Scott made a cameo? Looks like Nee Dohs were a hot commodity among dancers this year.

Talk about an electric Line Dance intro. I mean, c’mon. “All of The Lights” into “Let’s Get It Started” to “Timber” and then some? We can’t think of a better way to keep dancers moving and grooving all weekend long. Don’t even get us started on all the Penn State and pop culture references.

Here lies THON 2025 from a student-athlete perspective from before THON to the end and everything in between.

THON can be challenging even for spectators, volunteers, and supporters. This TikTok shows the highs and lows of the Final Four hours of the weekend.

This is absolutely a shameless plug, but I shaved my hair during THON’s annual “No Hair Don’t Care.” Onward State staffers were there to support me and capture the moment.

The Fray is arguably the best THON national act of all time, at least for the last couple of years. Talk about an electric performance.

Have you ever tried this one? The stretching is way too real. You can’t stand or dance for a whole weekend without stretching constantly.

If you didn’t peep, Feeney made an appearance in this year’s Line Dance video during the lyric “Solar glasses to look through,” hinting at last year’s glimpse of the solar eclipse seen from State College.

How could we not plug our most viewed and most liked video from the weekend? From not knowing the time to being at THON for the full 46 hours, our very own Michael Siroty took to the concourse to ask the question everyone’s itching to know.

Nothing beats committee bonding. Or setting a record-breaking total.

If you weren’t aimlessly wandering around the concourse during your graveyard shift, respectfully, what were you doing? There’s no better entertainment than yapping and venturing around for a lap or two (or 10).

This is why we THON, folks. For The Kids, for the families, for a cure, and for a brighter future. THON 2025 was “A Home For Hope” this weekend.
