Penn State Women’s Hockey To Face St. Lawrence To Start NCAA Regionals

Penn State women’s hockey is heading to Columbus, Ohio, for its NCAA Regionals appearance. The Nittany Lions will face St. Lawrence and possibly No. 2 seed Ohio State for its first appearances in this year’s NCAA Tournament.

The Nittany Lions will start their tournament run against St. Lawrence at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 13. The winner of that game will face the Buckeyes at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 15. The NCAA Tournament will follow a single-elimination format.

Whoever makes it out of the Columbus regional will face either Minnesota Duluth, Sacred Heart, or No. 3 seed Cornell on Friday, March 21. The Nittany Lions lost to Cornell 2-0 in October.

The Nittany Lions also faced No. 4 seed Minnesota, which sits on the other side of the bracket, earlier in the season. Penn State won 6-2 in January.
