Penn State Wrestling Clinches 2025 Big Ten Championship

No. 1-ranked Penn State wrestling has clinched the Big Ten Championship title for the third straight year.

A win from Levi Haines sealed the deal for Penn State as it avoided a challenge from Nebraska in the fourth session of the Big Ten Championships.

Penn State took the mat in Evanston, Illinois, this weekend with five wrestlers seeded No. 1 and the rest seeded in the top four of their weight class. The Big Ten Championship title came after the Nittany Lions secured their fourth undefeated season in a row.

Penn State started the weekend strong, with nine of its wrestlers advancing to the semifinals. 133-pounder Braedan Davis was the only wrestler not to advance to the semifinals. However, he still qualified for the NCAA Championships by defeating Dustin Norris of Purdue in the consolation round.
