Penn State Men’s Volleyball Tied For No. 19 In Latest AVCA Poll

Penn State men’s volleyball has stayed as No. 19 in the latest AVCA Poll, released Monday afternoon.

This comes despite the Nittany Lions being swept on Saturday and Sunday by then-No.15 Grand Canyon in their two-game series. This kept them winless in their eight matches against ranked opponents and gave them their 10th loss of the season. They are now one loss away from equaling their number of losses from the 2023 and 2024 seasons combined.

Penn State is tied for No. 19 along with its EIVA rival, Princeton, as they received 27 votes in the latest poll.

The Nittany Lions will look to get back on track as they head to Honolulu, Hawaii for the Outrigger Volleyball Invitational where they will take on three ranked opponents in USC, Hawaii, and Ball State. Penn State will play its first game of this tournament at 10 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, when it will take on No. 5 USC for the second time this season.
