Crowdsource: We Want To Hear Your Power Outage Experiences

Mother Nature wasn’t very nice to Happy Valley recently, folks.

On Sunday evening, severe thunderstorms, strong gusts of wind, and heavy rain took over Centre County, causing more than 11,000 area homes and businesses to lose power. Although some residences gained electricity within a few hours, others weren’t as lucky, as many didn’t receive power until Monday morning.

Whether you had to come up with creative ways to entertain yourself or had to deal with damages due to the weather, we want to hear your crazy power outage stories.
