Report: Lady Lions Guard Talayah Walker Enters Transfer Portal

Penn State women’s basketball guard Talayah Walker has entered the transfer portal, according to On3’s Talia Goodman.

The true freshman played in 29 games and started twice for the Lady Lions in 2024-25. She averaged 5.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 0.8 assists per game on the season on 447 total minutes. Walker also poked away 25 steals in her only year donning the blue and white.

Walker scored a season-high 18 points in January’s loss to USC, which was part of a three-game streak of 10-plus points for the Odenton, Maryland, native. Her playing time steadily increased as the season winded down, averaging 22.9 minutes from the Lady Lions’ bout with Oregon to the Pink Zone game against Wisconsin.
